In this hands-on workshop at Sharp Iron Farmstead, you’ll learn to make Fermented Plant Extracts (FPEs), a simple, low-cost brew that turns fresh plants and a little sugar into a powerful, living soil and foliar feed.

You’ll see active brews at every stage and learn which plants make the best extracts. As a group, we’ll build a batch together right at the workshop, then it’s yours to pick up at the farm once it’s ready to use. We’ll even take a quick look at a finished FPE under the microscope so you can see the biology at work for yourself.

By the end of the evening, you’ll understand exactly how to make your own FPE at home, a skill that pays for itself season after season.
